　信息技术在课堂上广泛应用，超越了教育、教学的传统视野，为教学活动提供了广阔的空间。将信息技术引入课堂，必将会优化传统的教学模式和拓展课堂教学空间，表现在：以信息技术为核心的CAI教学技术引入课堂，对中学物理教学有很好的辅助作用。一方面，它能化抽象为形象、化微观为宏观、化静态为动态、化不可操作为可操作，对化解知识难点，提高综合能力，推进素质教育具有重要意义。另一方面，超媒体技术的运用，使计算机集文字、图形、图像、声音、视频图像、动画等多种形式信息的编辑、控制和传递于一身，为学生营造了资源丰富、形象生动逼真、知识表征多元化的模拟与仿真情景，极大地优化了学习环境。同时，超媒体技术的集成性、交互性、同步性、协同性等主要特点，可以充分调动学生各种感觉器官的功能，有利于分布式学习、中心学习和边缘学习的融合；有利于开发全脑的学习潜能，平衡人的智力发展；有利于克服时空的限制，模糊课堂学习与真实学习的差异，使学生有可能全身心地投入以解决真实、复杂的物理实际问题。因此，信息化课程比传统的课堂教学有无法相比的优越性。它能对传统的教学模式、手段、方法、过程等全方位地得到优化和拓展。
